It's been incredibly windy, which has knocked things about a little over the past week. One of the Echium plants was damaged, and the runner beans look like pennants waving in the breeze. It is still warm though, and finally, the allotment is beginning to pick up and plants are beginning to produce.
This week, we picked our first courgettes and dwarf French beans from the allotment. We also picked our first chilli pepper (indoors).
We met with some of the boys from gym in the park in Crawley. The parents were there as well, making around twenty of us in all. We maintained our social distance and managed cartwheels and jumps and turns; things which which are not so easy in the lounge.
The session was so much better than Zoom. It was easier to see what the boys were dong, and easier for them to understand. Video sessions fulfil a purpose, but the will not be a long term replacement for activities in the gym.
I refuelled for the first time since 13 March. I think I probably had enough fuel for another week or so at my current rate. It will save me going for another 3 months or so!
Today's picture is hollyhocks from the garden.
